HELP! We need something translated from Japanese to English?

HELP! We need driving directions from Chofu (Tokyo) to Kyoto.?

The hotel manager recommended this site, but I don't read or speak Japanese. Can anyone type in our address and translate the specific directions into English for us? Don't tell us to try google maps, map quest, etc. They don't have online directions in Japan.

At first, I couldn't get to the website you showed.

Get on the highway Chu-oh-do at Chofu IC.

In order to get the highway, take route#14(called TOHACHI) which lies between the American school and International Christian univ.

Now, turn to right at Tenmondai-kita crossing to take the route#123 . Then you will see a sign of Chofu IC ahead. Take CHU-OH-DO bound for HACHIOHJI, go through HACHIOJI and it will lead you to COMAKI junction in about three hour. Now you take MEISHIN Highway line there and it have to take you to KYOTO HIGASHI ic in an hour or more. Get off of highway there, then try to find the crossing SHIRAKAWA st. and IMADEGAWA st. to get to Ginkakuji and the area.

I'm not in Japan now, so i'm not sure about the route. Ask somebody to ensure, please. Good luck!

The highway fee may cost at least 10,200yen as far as I could serch.

If the street is flowing, it will be about 5 or 6 hours of driving.

Type going to Google Translate

Just cut and past the Japanese into the lower box and it will give you a quick translation in English that might get you to were you are going.

I suggest copy pasting the written directions into babelfish. Google altavista babelfish, and set the language to japanese to english.
